Cesspool & Septic Tank Pumping

Step 1: Tank Access

Before any work can begin, the technicians at HI Tide Septic will need to uncover your tank access lid. After determining if your system is a cesspool or septic tank, the crew will open the lids. This might seem like a simple task, but corrosion and general wear-and-tear can make it difficult. In some cases, your lid will need to be replaced.

Step 2: Evaluation

Once we gain access to your tank(s), we begin the evaluation process to see if you need service. We will also provide insight into what the scum level looks like and how your habits are affecting the efficiency of the tanks.

Step 3: Pump Time

Using a high-power vacuum pump that is connected to our truck, all the liquids and solids will be sucked out of your sewage tank. While the pump is usually powerful enough to remove all debris and waste, there are certain times when thick sludge and solids will be left behind. To help remove any residual waste, your technician will use water and an agitator to clean out the interior of your tank, removing most of the remaining solids.
